About Us

Titanium-Buzz is based in Linden, Michigan, a small town about 45 minutes northwest of Detroit. For over a decade we have specialized in custom wedding rings made from some of the most durable and exciting materials in the world.

Our passion for rings began when our founder, Kevin Begola, was purchasing a ring for his wedding. He had been looking for something different and was intrigued by the possibilities he saw in titanium, a metal that was lighter, stronger, and more versatile than many other materials available at the time. Kevin's curiosity inspired him to seek out other unique designs and styles, and in 2003 he started selling titanium rings out of his house as a side project.

Bridge Street Exchange Pre-Rennovation

Kevin's eye for finding, featuring, and developing rings found a receptive audience, and his hobby soon outgrew his house and turned into a successful online business devoted to uncommonly cool wedding rings. In 2005 he launched Titanium-Buzz.com with the goal of providing a new kind of online shopping experience, one that focused on products custom made in the USA out of ultra-high quality materials with designs that weren't available at other jewelry stores, all delivered at a reasonable and affordable price -- in other words, to be the online store he had always wanted to shop at.

Within a few years Kevin was able to quit his day job to focus on growing his company, which expanded to include hundreds of titanium ring styles as well as other material choices such as black zirconium, carbon fiber, cobalt chrome, Damascus steel, and many more. As Titanium-Buzz thrived, Kevin began adding specially curated selections of other jewelry like earrings and cufflinks while experimenting with exclusive new ring collections and licensed designs from leading and up-and-coming artists. He also began adding a selection of gifts and accessories, all guided by his instinct for finding clever new twists on old ideas.

Then, in 2007, Kevin took the jewelry world by storm when Titanium-Buzz became the first-ever retailer to offer camouflage wedding bands, an idea of Kevin's that was so popular it has since been copied by most jewelers in the industry (if you want the original and the best, you can find them here).

After introducing the world to camo rings, Titanium-Buzz continued to evolve, eventually leading Kevin to open Bridge Street Exchange in 2013, a "gentleman's emporium" and the new brick-and-mortar home of Titanium-Buzz. Located in the heart of historic downtown Linden, the new store has attracted customers from across the United States and Canada who come to see Titanium-Buzz's latest offerings or just to hang out and shop for watches, sandals, boots, and other guy-oriented clothing and accessories.

Today, Titanium-Buzz continues to strive to create a great one-on-one buying experience, where each ring is a custom work of art that is made to order just for you. The same curiosity that inspired Kevin to seek out something different is still a core part of our culture, which is why we will also work with customers to help them bring their own designs to life. If you've got a picture in your head of that perfect ring, let us know, and we'll do everything we can to make it happen.
