Adding Color to Titanium
Titanium rings can have several different colors added to them to give them character and a unique design. The process of adding color to an inlay is called anodizing. Anodizing metals is a process where the oxide levels are adjusted. This adjust will effect the spectrum of light resulting in a color. The changing of oxide levels will bring out a wide variety of colors that can be produced. Anodizing is not a process of dying or putting a coating on the metal, therefore the color is actually in the base metal. This is why many of our titanium wedding rings are so unique and have a completly different style. Along with the process of anodizing many of our rings, the titanium jewelry we sell is very distinctive and many of the items are handcrafted by skilled artists.
