About This Design:
We specialize in alternative and exotic metals, but even we have to admit there's nothing else quite like black zirconium. And if you were wondering, yes, black zirconium did start its life as regular zirconium. Once upon a time the metal in your ring was as bright and silvery as titanium. The difference is when you superheat zirconium for an extended time it turns into an inky black, super-hard metal that gives off a dark, shiny gleam. We wore down the finish to give it this unique look, and we think the rest speaks for itself!
