Here's a bit of box elder trivia: The oldest musical instruments ever found in America -- some flutes discovered in an Arizona cave -- are made out of box elder wood. The flutes are believed to be over 3000 years old!

That's why each ring is hand assembled using a special patent pending process to ensure its continuing quality. The inlay is flush with the titanium sides to help protect it from everyday dings and scratches. The wood itself, which is taken from rare pieces of box elder burl, is protected by a laminate that blocks moisture and oils while accentuating the unique patterns in the grain.
