![]() Sometimes all it takes is a little twist on tradition to create something completely new, and that's the story behind this new Offset Gold Damascus Steel Wedding Ring! It's the elegance you'd expect for one of the most important pieces of jewelry you'll ever wear, but balanced by hard-hitting materials and an off-center inlay style. It's that left-of-center sensibility that makes each of these Damascus Steel Wedding Rings a one-of-a-kind masterpiece! We start with a classic dome profile, but to create the body of the ring we use beautifully pattern welded Damascus steel. And, as you may already know, these patterns are unique to each Damascus Wedding Ring -- each cut will reveal another exciting pattern, and no two will ever be the same. From there we've taken a traditional gold inlay, but offset it to one edge to showcase the complex striations in the metal. You can even choose between yellow and white gold! We then polish the ring to complete this unique look. Whether it's for your wedding or just for looking good, this Damascus-style ring will be custom made for you, and only you. There's no old stock gathering dust on a shelf in some warehouse, every Damascus Steel Wedding Ring doesn't exist until a customer orders it. So to get started on creating yours, choose a ring size between 5 and 12.5. Next, select a 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, or full-sized 8mm width for your ring. And finally, like we mentioned earlier, choose between yellow gold (shown) or white gold to create your ring's inlay! About This Design: What are the patterns in these Damascus Wedding Rings? Are they scratches? Dyes? Burns? No, no, and no! Damascus style metal like the kind featured in these rings is actually a high strength blend of two kinds of stainless steel. These steels are pattern welded and then folded into billets to form a single hybrid metal. While both steels are of the highest quality, each has slightly different levels of carbon and chromium. It's these differences that create the striated patterns -- you're actually seeing the grain lines where the steels have been folded together. The process of creating this metal is literally thousands of years old and is one of our favorite methods for creating rings that are both highly ornamental and durable. Speaking of durability, come with us to see more examples of strength meeting style in our complete collection of Gold Titanium Rings! | ![]()
