About This Design: To create the look you see here we fused together multiple pieces of 300 series austenitic stainless steel into a single solid block of metal. This is low carbon steel with a high chromium content that not only enhances each ring's luster but also resists corrosion and tarnishing. The compression marks that give this ring its distinctive appearance mark the boundaries between the different steel pieces. From each completed block we carve, size, shape, and then finally polish the finished ring.
