About This Design: It's the metal that makes the ring, and it's the method that makes the metal! Each Damascus Steel Wedding Band at Titanium-Buzz is crafted from a labor-intensive process based on ancient techniques developed in the Middle East and Asia in the fourth century, BC! This entails pressing alternating layers of stainless steel into bars that are then welded together, heated, folded, and hammered. The result is a single bar that is an equal mix of both steels. This process is repeated several days to create additional layers and mix up the matrices of the steels. The final result is a perfect hybrid in which the different layers of steel are visible -- these are the striated grains that this band shows off so well.
