Norrsken Glow in the Dark Ring

Yes this is really happening! A ring that glows in the dark designed and created by designer James Thompson of Black Badger Advanced Composites. This ring is called the Norrsken (named after the Swedish word for Northern lights/ Aurora Borealis). The ring is made from Glacier White Dupont brand Corian and it is fused with a layer of next gen photoluminescent polycarbonate. These 2 materials are formed together and that is what helps create the cool glowing effect in low light you see in the image. The DuPont Corian is a neat material that is often found inside your kitchen (countertops) and is being used more and more for interior architecture. The material itself is very durable and long lasting over time.

Each ring is handcrafted by James and he prides himself on items that are really unique and his design efforts really show through.
