About This Design:
What is it about this ring? We think the difference is in the Mokumanium process. It's a way of forging metal that's similar to the ancient techniques of Mokume Gane or Damascus Steel. Both of those methods involve folding then welding layers of metal together to create distinct lines in the surface. The patent-pending secret of Mokumanium takes that to another level by allowing our artists to exercise greater control over the final look. The "cracks" and shapes you see on this ring are actually woven into the metal itself, not printed on.
