Additional Features: The ultimate men's wooden rings deserve the executive treatment, which is why this ring includes free engraving of up to 25 characters on the inside of the band. Order your ring today and rest assured that this item also qualifies for free domestic ground shipping! About This Design: The name chechen sometimes causes confusion about where this wood is originally from. It is not, as some think, from the former Russian republic. Far, far from it, in fact. Chechen wood is native to Central America, Cuba, and Jamaica. Its nickname, Caribbean rosewood, does a better job of identifying where this special tropical wood is grown -- though chechen wood isn't actually rosewood at all! Misleading names aside, chechen wood is extremely dense and rich in color, far exceeding the brilliance of most hardwoods. The burls (rare, knoblike growths) that lend these inlays their distinctive patterns are highly prized for use in furniture and in decorative carving -- wherever a signature wood grain of unsurpassed natural elegance is required, you'll find chechen wood. Our men's wooden rings are designed to capture that elegance for a lifetime, which is why these rings were developed using a special, patent pending process that is unlike anything else in the jewelry industry. The titanium outlays don't just look great, they also act as a shield for the inlay, protecting it from nicks and scratches. The wood itself is carefully sealed to prevent any contamination from air, water, oils, and dirt. We can also replace the inlay at any time, though you probably won't ever want to. For more information about inlay replacement, please contact our customer service. We're just getting started! Our around-the-world journey to Earth's most exotic hardwoods continues in on our full selection of Wood Inlay Rings! | ![]()
