Almost as if it took a cue from its name, the continuous inlay of this Titanium and Burled Kentucky Coffee Wood Ring echoes the creamy essence of a swirling cup of cappuccino! Cut from burls taken from a rare tree native to the American Midwest, the inlay of each highly figured wood ring is buffed to a beautiful sandy blonde with swirling patches of ochre. The inlay is framed and protected by a lightweight titanium base that complements the coloring of the wood.
The unique combination of burled wood and titanium makes this mixed material ring a popular pick for wearers who fancy themselves partial to jewelry that's simultaneously earthy and elegant. The sleek, polished titanium outlay not only helps showcase the Kentucky coffee wood inlay, but also adds a level of unrivaled protection and durability to this original wooden inlay ring from Titanium-Buzz. So go ahead, drink it up.
The lightweight feel of titanium coupled with the dome profile makes this ring extra-comfortable. A slightly domed design allows you to slip the ring over your knuckles easily, so you won't get stuck if you need to take it off from time to time. It also provides a feather-light, barely there feel so that it won't get in your way throughout the day. You can sport this ring wherever you go, no matter how demanding the conditions.
These are the perfect wooden rings for men (and women), and you can make one a part of your life by choosing your size. All whole and half sizes are available. We can also produce this ring in 1/4 sizes or make other custom modifications upon request. Optional personalized engraving is available on the inside diameter of the band as an add-on feature. Purchase of this ring includes free ground shipping to anywhere in the USA.
About This Design
Residents of Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may be used to seeing them in parks and alongside roadways, but Kentucky coffee are actually rare trees that grows only in the Midwestern United States and parts of Southern Canada. They take their name from their unusual peapod-like fruit, which during times of extreme poverty was brewed to make cheap coffee. But don't toss out your favorite blend of Columbian just yet. Kentucky coffee is said to be extremely bitter and is also toxic in large enough quantities - there's a reason it's not for sale at Starbucks.
So we don't recommend you drink it, but we do recommend you take a moment to appreciate the beautiful, one-of-a-kind quality of the spectacular wood grain in this inlay. It's an uncommonly beautiful and uniquely American work of all-natural art. There's nothing else quite like it, and this ring is a cool, classy, and colorful way to accentuate your own style. And for that we've developed a special patent pending process for handcrafting these rings for our customers. The titanium sides of each ring protect the inlay from dings and scratches, but what really does the heavy lifting is a special laminate that protects the wood from water and other damaging elements. We can also replace the inlay at any time, if desired (you won't need to, but the option's there). For more information about inlay replacement, please contact our customer service team.
