Men's Titanium Offset Gibeon Meteorite Ring
- Made in USA:
Put a piece of the stars in orbit around your finger. This Offset Titanium Meteorite Ring is one of our favorite pieces of authentic piece of Gibeon meteorite jewelry! The contemporary design features a rounded dome profile that showcases a cool offset 2mm wide inlay. The inlay makes a perfect contrast to the durable titanium sides and is taken from an actual slice of the Gibeon meteorite! This rare material, discovered in Africa in 1836, is over 4-billion-years-old and is unlike anything else on Earth! The material in these rings hasn't just been around forever, it will last forever too! Want to make this Gibeon meteorite jewelry even better? You can customize your meteorite ring to create a one-of-a-kind work of art that's been billions of years in the making! Select any standard ring size between 3 and 13 for a comfortable fit -- and if your finger is a non-standard measurement, don't worry, custom sizes are also available upon request. Optional personalized engraving is available on the inside diameter of the band as an add-on feature. We provide free ground shipping of this item to anywhere in the USA.
About This Design: Take a closer look at the inlay shown here and you'll notice a seemingly random series of different shades and small lines that almost look like angular scratches. What are they? They're called Widmanstatten patterns, and the only place they can ever be seen are on pieces of actual meteorites that have been cleaned with nitric acid. How did they form? When the asteroid that became the Gibeon was blasted from the debris of an extinct planet or moon, it was a super-heated chunk of rock that slowly cooled over hundreds of millions of years. This pattern was formed as a result of that cooling.
